As you can probably tell, a theme is occurring on my blog posts around beauty boxes. I do absolutely love beauty boxes for exploring and trying new products, so I have tried a new box called the Pip Box as I really wanted to get on board with using cruelty free brands. I have to say that the Pip Box is probably one of my favourite boxes I’ve ever had! That is saying something with all of the ones I have tried! I am impressed by the range of different products and I love that they champion the fact that all of the brands in the box are cruelty free. Pip box also donates 50p to Animal Free Research UK from your purchase which is also a lovely touch.
You can buy cruelty free & vegan beauty boxes from Pip box, but I opted for just the cruelty free box. I paid £16.85 including shipping and a 10% off code advertised on their website, which I think is well worth the money. The box it arrives in is nothing fancy, but the packaging inside is nice and all of the products arrived safely.
Predictably, one of my favourite products from the box is the Go by Glory Semi-Matte liquid lipstick in ‘Sugar Dumpling’. I am obsessed with this colour and the formula is SO pigmented. It also feels really comfortable on the lips. It is a little drying and very difficult to fully remove as it turns almost glue like! But I do really like it still and will continue to use it.
My other favourite product in this month’s box is the Bloomtown Roll on Infused Oil in ‘The Rose Garden’. It is a rollerball rose scented infused oil which smells really pretty and floral as the name suggests but is not too overpowering. These retail at £4.80 which I think is a great price. I will definitely be checking out and using my money off code to get more of the range online as they stock a big collection of bodycare products. Similarly to other beauty subscription services you can get money off on the retailers website using the codes provided in your box.
I am actually really excited to see a nail art product in this box. I used to be obsessed with my nails and nail art back in the day, so I am looking forward to trying this out and getting back into it. Don’t you just love the packaging of this product from MoYou?! You can find this exact nail stamping plate here. You can definitely get lost on their website however as they have beautiful nail varnishes and a massive range of nail art supplies, I would highly recommend checking them out!
Lastly, I do really like the smell of the Conscious Skincare shampoo and conditioner. Of course it is all cruelty free and ideal for packing mini’s for holiday!
One of my favourite thing about this box (aside from the fact that they have an amazing lip product which always wins me over and that all of the products are cruelty free), is the range of different types of products included. It is usually rare to receive nail, makeup, hair and perfume products all in one box. This is also my perfect combination of items as I don’t use a massive amount of skincare products. This box has inspired me to try out more cruelty free products, and maybe make some changes to my current makeup collection.
Will you be trying out the Pip Box? What other cruelty free brands should I know about?
