I was so excited to be invited to Prezzybox‘s Jingle Mingle Christmas event in Birmingham this week, my first ever blogger event! I didn’t expect to be invited to anything like this so I am super grateful to Prezzybox for letting me come! I even got my own name badge which excited me a bit too much!
I didn’t really know what to expect and I was a bit nervous before I arrived, but the Prezzybox team were so friendly and welcoming on arrival. They had filled the room with their top Christmas gifts as well as providing food and drinks for all of us bloggers. It was really great to meet other bloggers, I met some lovely people that I hope I will see again at future events!
The night also included a talk from the creator of Prezzybox, Zak Edwards. It was fascinating to hear about how he has built up the company from an idea to the way that the company looks today. Very inspiring! There was also a talk from blogger/youtuber Eltoria which I unfortunately missed, however I did get the chance to join in the workshops that were taking place.
Firstly I joined the photography flat lay workshop by Dani from Prezzybox. He had lots of great tips about how to make your flat lay photographs look professional. I gave it a go at home which you will see in a moment, (I hope I took some of your tips on board Dani!), but I am definitely not anywhere near professional yet!
One of my favourite parts of the event was meeting the lovely owners of Wild Olive bath and body products. They have the most amazing range of soaps, bath melts, shower smoothies and much more, all made from vegan ingredients without any chemicals. We were given the opportunity to make our very own bath melt using their range. I was quite pleased with myself as art is not my strong point!! I will definitely be exploring the rest of the products in the range on Prezzybox!
After all of that excitement, we also got a goodie bag to take home, see below featuring my lovely flatlay (I tried!). I was really happy to see another product from Wild Olive in the goodie bag, their bath smoothie in the scent ‘Clementine and Prosecco’. If you follow my instagram, stay tuned for a review of this product! The goodie bag also included a popsocket, pocket selfie stick and earrings (which will be kindly passed on to whoever claims them first from my family!)
I absolutely loved my first blogger event. I met some really lovely bloggers, members of the Prezzybox team and suppliers. The event was really well organised with plenty to do to keep us all snapping away all evening! Hopefully I will have the opportunity to go again next year!
What did you think of the event?

Love a name badge at an event. I once got a McDonalds one and have tried to drunkenly use it to claim I work there and get free food. It has literally NEVER been successful 😁
