Glossybox November 2018: Review

Last month’s Glossybox had a lot to live up to because of the amount of full sized makeup products. This month’s Beauty SOS edition was not quite as good, but did have some little gems. I thought i’d have a short chat about the box contents for this month.

We had an extra product this month in the form of a perfume sample from Chloe. Personally perfume samples don’t particularly excite me but I can’t complain about getting an extra item!

One of the main reasons that I stayed subscribed to Glossybox for this month was for the Huda Beauty liquid lipstick. I received mine in the colour ‘Venus‘.

I am feeling a bit mixed about this product. It’s recommended retail price is £18 so I expected it to last all day. It did start to come off after eating and drinking which was a bit disappointing. The formula itself is easy to apply, strongly scented but I didn’t mind this too much. I found that as it took a little while to dry after application it started to spread onto my teeth, so be wary of that! Overall, I do like the shade and look of the product after application but i’m not sure I will be purchasing another which is a shame.

A couple of the products that I am looking forward to trying are the Novex, My Curls Mask. I love a good hair mask and as my hair is naturally frizzy/curly so this will be perfect, and it is cruelty free which is even better!

Another product that looks super pretty is the STYLondon eyeshadow palette in ‘Eaton.’ I have way too many eyeshadow palettes at the moment but the shade range is great, and the RRP is £9.99 which is super affordable.

I am going to stay subscribed to Glossybox to see what their Christmas edition will be like. I’m hoping to carry on seeing high end brands as Glossybox are definitely continuing to provide contents way over the price of the box, even if some of them don’t 100% suit my taste.

What did you think of this month’s box contents?
