I resubscribed to Glossybox a couple of months ago after being hooked in by their amazing October ‘Trick or Treat‘ themed box (you can read all about it here). I had very high hopes for their December box, seeing as though Glossybox has included high end brands and lots of full sized products over the last couple of months. I was hoping that they would have some special products for their Christmas edition!

The theme of this month was ‘All That Glitters’. I love the packaging and was really happy to see that there was 5 full sized products as well as a bonus treat item! I love receiving beauty boxes where I will use all of the products inside and this month’s box is definitely in that category. Not too many skincare items and a majority of makeup items, perfect for me! It is still not quite living up to the standards of the October box as I expected a little bit more from their Christmas edition, but I am happy that the products all suit me this month.
I think my favourite products in the box are the Niko Pro Liquid Jelly Blush in the shade ‘Bali’ RRP £12.00 and the Doucce Matte Lip Crayon in ‘Winterberry’ RRP £16.95.
I have never seen a product like the liquid jelly blush by Niko Pro. It is much more liquidy than a cream blush and is very shimmery. I think this would look really pretty for a shimmery makeup look over the Christmas period.
Of course I love the Doucce matte lip crayon because of the colour (red is my absolute fave lip colour), but it is also really pigmented. I am going to wear it to my Christmas party and test out it’s staying power and see whether it is worth the price. Stay tuned for an update on that!
The box also included a Shimmer Roll from Bellapierre Cosmetics, RRP £19.99 which can be used on the body, eyes and face. It is really pigmented but i’m not sure if I will use it regularly. I don’t think I would pay the high price tag for it if I hadn’t received it in this box but I do really like the look of the glitter and colour payoff.

We also received an Imperial Leather Unicorn Shower Gel RRP £1.99, Vitamasque Cosmic Pink Ruby Glitter Peel off Mask RRP £4.99 and an extra gift of The Incredible Pore Strip by MayBeauty RRP £3.50. It is nice to see some more affordable brands in the box should you want to repurchase anything, but it may be a little disappointing for anyone expecting high end brands this month.
Overall I am really pleased with this box and I will be trying out and using all of the products. I have unfortunately just cancelled my subscription to Glossybox to try and save some money for my wedding so you won’t see any beauty box reviews for a while, unless I get sucked back in!
I have one last blog post to put up before taking some time off blogging over Christmas to relax and spend time with family. But it is an exciting one so I hope you stay tuned for that! See you in my last post for 2018!

Yes. I get Birchbox too but after having 2 and the Glossy advent I’m a bit overflowing so thinking of stopping them. I don’t wear make up daily and before I started getting them I also spent a fortune on Younique products and other stuff.
