In the past couple of years I have become a lot more interested in eyeshadow. I am by no means an expert but I am really enjoying playing around with eyeshadow to see what looks I can create. The great thing is that you can get some really high quality eyeshadow palettes on the high street without the expensive price tag. Here are a few of my favourites, bargains and higher end with a warning in advance if you aren’t a neutrals gal, these won’t be for you!

As you can probably tell from the picture, I am not massively adventurous with my eyeshadow colour choices. I tend to stick to neutral palettes, browns, pinks and golds which I think suit my complexion and eye colour. If anyone does have some suggestions for some more ‘out there’ palettes i’d love to know about them!
Revolution Beauty Re-Loaded Affection Eyeshadow Palette
Revolution Beauty have recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary, so it is only right to talk about how amazing their eyeshadow palettes are. I have used their palettes for years and in particular I am loving the Revolution Re-Loaded Affection palette. It is only £4 which is an absolute bargain! The colours are really pigmented and one of the easiest to blend formulas I own. This is one of my go to palettes for travelling and everyday makeup looks. I would highly highly recommend their eyeshadow palettes if you are on a budget.

Missguided Unicorns Want to Be Me Eyeshadow Palette
This palette is a more recent find of mine that you can read about in my blog post on the Mega Brand Box. This eyeshadow palette which retails at £14 is surprisingly pigmented with really pretty glitters. Currently this is out of stock but if you are able to get your hands on it, the packaging is really pretty and the shadows (especially the glitters) are some of my favourites.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette
Another one of my go to eyeshadow palettes is the gorgeous Cocoa Blend palette from Zoeva. It is more expensive at £18 but again, the shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend. The packaging does feel a lot more high end and the shadows are long lasting.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette
The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is definitely the most expensive eyeshadow palette that I own.I have also written a blog post comparing it to it’s much cheaper dupe from W7 cosmetics which you can read about here if you want to find a bargain instead! This palette is definitely not a cheap option at £42, however the shadows are so creamy and pigmented that I think if you want to make an investment in a palette it is actually worth the money!

As my eyeshadow palette collection is steadily growing, I don’t know about you but I don’t think I need any more neutral palettes anytime soon!
I’d love to know if you have tried any of these palettes or which one you would like to try? I would also love to branch out to some glitter palettes if anyone has any recommendations. Leave them in the comments!

I bought my best friend the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette as a gift, and since then I’ve seen the shades up close and it made me want to buy one for myself as well!
