Yes, that’s right, I have been sucked back into the beauty box void once again! Bet you didn’t see that coming (or more likely you did as I am very predictable!) To justify, when I saw that Glossybox were advertising 5 full sized products in their May box I couldn’t resist and especially as when I used my saved up Glossy credit, I was able to pick up the box for only £4.90 including P&P. I JUST CAN’T RESIST A BARGAIN OKAY. So now I have made myself feel better about buying more products that, let’s face it, I probably don’t need, here are the contents of the May Glossybox:
I am also feeling very smug with myself about getting 5 full sized products for under £5. I think this box is worth the money, and in my opinion would be worth it if you had paid the regular subscription price too. One of the positives about this month’s box is that it includes products that I have never used before and I do love trying out new brands. According to my research, all of these products except for the Dr Jart mask are also cruelty free (please correct me if i’m wrong!)
The product I am most excited to try is the Mudmasky Aftermask Vitamin Serum which is designed specifically for use after a face mask. Who would have thought?! Apparently using a moisturiser after a face mask can clog your pores, so I am definitely going to be giving this a try instead. This product also retails at £43! What a bargain to get this product for under £5!
This Dr Jart Rubber Hydro face mask is probably one of the strangest products I have ever seen! Unfortunately not cruelty free, this mask is from a Korean brand with the most interesting, if not extremely creepy packaging. I have to say that it looks very complicated just for a face mask!
What did you think of this month’s box? Now I have got my spontaneity out of the way I will probably cancel my subscription to Glossybox. What are some good cruelty free alternatives?
