Beauty Pie – Tried and Tested

Beauty Pie is a certified cruelty free beauty subscription with a difference. It’s not a subscription box, more like a member’s club where you pay a certain amount each month to have access to buy their products. Membership starts at £5 and each level of their membership allows you to shop up to a certain spending limit. Your spending limit also rolls over if you don’t buy every month.

Beauty pie products tower on a brown board.

Beauty Pie products are described as luxury and prices are kept low as they cut out the middle men. With regards to how they calculate their prices, this is taken from their website, ‘Beauty Pie products are produced to our unique specifications (the combination of packaging and product). Our typical prices are what you would typically pay at a retailer (online or offline) for a luxury product of similar quality, efficacy and size/weight.’ I would say that the product quality and packaging is high so I would agree that you are getting high quality products for less. However they haven’t all been successful for me as you will see if you read on!

There are absolutely loads of products to choose from Beauty Pie, so this is not an exhaustive list! Out of the small selection I have tried, these are my favourites.

Jeju Daily Moisture Superinfusion£10.86 (member price)

This is one of the best moisturisers I have ever tried. The texture is like silk and the light floral scent is delightful. It keeps my skin hydrated and feeling like i’ve been to a spa. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Jeju Stem Cell Moisture Shot Serum£9.08 (member price)

As you can tell, there is a theme going on as this is one of my favourite ranges! Again, this has the lovely light floral scent. It’s a very light and non sticky serum which pairs perfectly with the moisturiser. Another repurchase for sure!

Ultralight SPF 25 £9.08 (member price)

This has to be one of the best facial suncreams i’ve ever used. It is as light as it is described, meaning it is easy to layer makeup on top. It absorbs really easily and there is no white cast. I absolutely love it and will be repurchasing, likely in a higher SPF too.

Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm£16.26 (member price)

A huge 100ml of product which will last me a long time! It melts makeup off with ease and feels really luxurious. I’m not sure this is a repurchase for me as I prefer the Jeju range for my skin but this is still a great product.

Least Favourites

You can’t love them all and unfortunately these products didn’t work for me.

Sheer Tinted Oil-Free SPF 20£6.73 (member price)

I completely misunderstood what this was when buying it as I thought it was more of a foundation, but the formula is so sticky that it doesn’t feel nice on my skin as a tinted moisturiser.

Fruitizyme Five Minute Facial£10.79 (member price)

Another product that was really sticky and hard to remove! The difficulty in removing the product doesn’t make it worth using for me.

If you want to try out Beauty Pie for yourself, I would definitely recommend reading reviews before you do, there are lots out there! It’s worth remembering that the prices are great but you are also adding a member’s fee on top which isn’t affordable for everyone. This week only, you can get your first month for free-

Personally, I have found some products that I love with my membership and I already have my eye on some new ones to try.
